Born sometime in the glorious pixelated haze of the early 80s, somewhere in Gothenburg, I (Danni) was thrust into this world, probably with a joystick in hand and a sarcastic smirk. Fast forward a few decades and I now grind XP in real life as a trucker in Stockholm, the overly caffeinated capital of Sweden.

Trucker by day, gamer by heart.
My childhood memories are… let’s just say, glitching bad…. I moved out in my early 20s and spent 11 years in Norrköping, where my precious Gothenburg accent was brutally murdered and replaced with… something unholy.

Over the years, I’ve had more job titles than a Final Fantasy XIV completionist: Janitor, cleaning maid, demolition dude, preschool teacher, Flash developer (yes, that Flash), forklift ninja, and warehouse manager. My CV reads like a side quest list gone wild. And now? I’m cruising Sweden in a big ol’ truck and dreaming about used old car batteries and boss fights.

Back in the day, I trained judo, karate, ju-jutsu and MMA, and I may or may not have been part of a military special force (but if I told you more, I’d have to sneak past your firewall). These days I prefer a quieter life with no drama. Seriously, I banned all drama queens from my personal server years ago and shower my affection on my two cats, Sigge and Mysan.

What’s with “MrAPOD”?
APOD stands for A Piece Of Danni, because when you hang with me online, that’s exactly what you get. “Mr” was added after way too many desperate WoW dudes offered me gold, assuming APOD was a hot girl gamer. Spoiler: I’m not. Unless you’re into truck-driving, cat-loving, dad-joke-making ex-MMA fighters…. 

Apod-Gaming: Why I Do This
I created Apod Gaming to blend my love of gaming and video production into something actually useful. No clickbaits, no BS, just high-quality tutorials, walkthroughs and content for gamers who want to git gud without wading through a swamp of lame thumbnails and screaming, over hyped toddlers, Mr Beast wannabees.
